What is RSS?

Now you can keep up to date with the latest news from Murano Software using our RSS feed. To use Murano Software’s RSS feed you will need a news aggregator (for example, RSSReader, Snarfer, Optimal Desktop).

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and is an internationally accepted standard for data presentation

What are RSS feeds?

RSS feeds are data presented in RSS format. Most blogs and many online news sources have RSS feeds. The technology of RSS allows Internet users to subscribe to websites that have provided RSS feeds; these are typically sites that change or add content regularly.

Why use RSS?

By subscribing to an RSS feed you get information and news updates without having to go to the site – if you need more, you know which site to go to

What do I need to use RSS?

To get news using RSS you need a news aggregator, such as RSSReader which, in the machine-readable XML format, presents new articles in a list, giving a line or two of each article and a link to the full article or post. Some browsers – such as Firefox and Opera – have built in RSS readers

How it works?

Find the link to the RSS feed on a site, copy it into your news reader, and set the time interval for the program to check the feed. When the site is updated, the program will automatically inform you and download any new information.

Enjoy!
